And a sea captain leading them all – into disaster...
PLUS a huge, seafaring mammal, promising a WHALE of a time...!
STARBOARD HOME (the new turn-of-the-century musical) sets sail from Southampton,
England on New Year’s Eve, 1899, with a zany passenger roster that includes Lord and
Lady Goodenough, a blaguard and his wife, the famous ex-showgirl, Lexi Larue; Rosie
O.Grady, their feisty maid; Davy Jones, an international playboy who is disguised as
their valet; Pamela Postlethwaite, a suffragette intent on revenge before the arrival of
the New Year; and at the helm, Captain Cyril Cathcart, the befuddled and befogged
skipper. The cruise quickly turns disastrously comical as a whale snags the anchor
and changes everyone’s course: a diamond ring is missing, lies are told, old flames are
rekindled, scandals are revealed...and true romance brings the seafaring couples to
their final berths. This nautical naughtiness floats on waves of laughter and a sea of
champagne...!
